After a visit to the Morbid
Library in Brooklyn, I began researching dream interpretations that I discovered in the reading room. I realized that there were so many different ways of looking at it, whether it be religious, atheistic, or spiritual. When tasked with making a research book about my findings, I wanted to push the boundary of how type interacts with the page.
The type is purposefully unreadable, see-through, and unorganized. This is to confront the notion that we have to interpret our dreams at all.
The book entirely utilizes die-cuts made from a laser cutter to introduce different ways of looking through the book. Each page is double-sided, meaning that when you turn the page, there is more to read through the gaps than anticipated.
